Website hosting for people who already keep files

Publish from the folder you already work in.

Switchyard is a cloud website host for content creators and businesses. Save HTML, photos, and redirects in Dropbox, OneDrive, GitHub, GitLab, or Amazon S3. We serve the site, issue HTTPS, and give you a few sharp tools so you never open a CMS.

Built for

Studios, shops, and people who ship pages themselves.

Content creators

Lookbooks, newsletters archives, course landing pages, and photography sites that you can update by dropping a file into a folder you already sync.

Businesses

A public site that marketing can edit without tickets. Product photos resize from the URL. Affiliate links keep your Amazon tag attached. HTTPS is on by default.

Three steps

No dashboard required to change a page.

1

Connect a drive or repo

Point Switchyard at Dropbox, OneDrive, GitHub, GitLab, or S3. Your domain is a folder named after the host.

2

Put files in the folder

index.html is the homepage. Photos, CSS, and extra pages sit beside it. Save, and the site updates.

3

We keep HTTPS current

Certificates are created and renewed automatically. Visitors on HTTP are sent to HTTPS once a cert is in place.

Included tools

Hosting plus the extras you actually use.

Most “simple hosts” stop at files. Switchyard also resizes images from a query string, and turns product codes into tracked Amazon affiliate hops so creators and shops can earn without a plugin stack.

Automatic SSL

Let’s Encrypt certificates per host, renewed before they expire. No files to paste, no calendar reminders.

Image transforms

One original photo. Thumbnails, crops, and rotations from ?w=480 or ?r=90.

Affiliate links

Short product URLs that attach your Associates tag and send shoppers through with the hop recorded.

Why Switchyard

A website that behaves like the rest of your files.

Version history is whatever your provider already gives you. Collaboration is sharing a folder. Offline edits sync when you reconnect. There is no theme store and no page builder lock-in — only files you can copy, zip, or move.
