Get started

A folder, a hostname, and HTTPS.

This page is the whole onboarding story. Switchyard is in open hosting for teams who will keep the site as files. Use the checklist, then write us with the provider you want connected.

Checklist

1

Pick storage

Dropbox or OneDrive if you edit like documents. GitHub or GitLab if you review like code. S3 if operations already own the bucket.

2

Create the site folder

Name it after the public host. Add index.html. Drop photos in as they are — transforms happen on request.

3

Point the host here

Once the hostname reaches Switchyard, we issue the certificate and redirect HTTP to HTTPS. Affiliate tags can be added whenever you start recommending products.

Tell us in the email

  • The hostname you want published
  • Provider: Dropbox, OneDrive, GitHub, GitLab, or S3
  • Creator, Studio, or Business
  • Whether you need affiliate hops on day one

What happens next

We connect read access to that folder or repository, publish the host, and let automatic SSL take over. You keep editing files the way you already do.
