Product links that keep your tag, every time.

Creators and shops should not paste Amazon Associates tags into every caption. Switchyard hosts short product URLs. A shopper hits your link with a product code; we attach your tag and send them to Amazon. The hop is a clean redirect you can count.

How a hop works

You store your Amazon Associates tag once for the affiliate host. Visitors request a ten-character product code. Switchyard responds with a redirect to Amazon’s product page, always using your tag — even if someone tries to override it in the query string.

Example

A visitor opens a short product URL on your affiliate host. They land on Amazon with tag=yourid-20 attached. Extra campaign parameters you pass through can remain; the tag cannot be swapped.

Why this belongs next to hosting

Lookbooks, newsletters, and shop pages already live as files on Switchyard. Affiliate hops should too. No extra WordPress plugin, no link-in-bio vendor, no spreadsheet of tagged URLs that drift out of date when Amazon changes a product path.

Tag

Yours, always

The Associates tag is taken from your configuration, not from the inbound link.

Track

A hop you can see

Each click is a 302 through Switchyard before Amazon. Use that as the countable event.

Share

Short enough for captions

Publish the product code URL in video descriptions and lookbooks without wrapping it twice.
